Following wins against Concordia-Wisconsin, Greenville, Rose-Hulman, Carroll and Aurora, IWU’s women’s volleyball team added another win to their streak against the Carthage College Firebirds on Wednesday, September 21.

Illinois Wesleyan took a 3-1 set win in Kenosha Wednesday night in their sixth and final game of the Illinois Wesleyan Classic I, capping off an undefeated run in the invitational.

After losing the first set 25-18, the Titans bounced back and won the next three sets by two, three, and four points.

The Titans outscored the Firebirds 93-91 in their narrow victory. They beat Carthage in kills by eight, and had nine more assists than their opponents.

That showdown will be followed by a double-header on Saturday, September 24 against Heidelberg University and number 15 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
