For the second time this season junior Kendall Sosa was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Player of the Week by the league office on Monday, Jan.13.
The Bloomington native and Normal Community High School alum is currently a graphic design major at Illinois Wesleyan.
Sosa catapulted IWU into first place in the CCIW standings as she led the Titans with 26 points over North Park on Jan. 11. She fin- ished the game with the 22nd-most season point total in the country and 11-of-17 from the floor.
Sosa ranks second overall in the league with 92 field goals, 89.5 free throw percentage, 19.2 points per game and total points this season.
The Titans take on Elmhurst College on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.
