Members of the Illinois Wesleyan University and local community are invited to participate in the 2021 McLean County Heart Walk Digital Experience. You can donate to the American Heart Association and participate in this online event on Sunday, September 26.

 

Reading to Understand: Reaching Towards Reading Comprehension

Students are invited to room 105b in the Ames Library for a workshop designed for students so that they can beat distractions to focus on the content and meaning of what you read to better grasp author claims, class assignments, and course discussions.

Men’s soccer faces off against Monmouth at Neis Field. Streaming is available through the IWU Sports website.

Champagne “ribbon cutting” ceremony for the new tutoring spaces of CEL’s Writing Center Tutoring Services on the main floor of The Ames Library.

3D: Hispanic Heritage Month Presentation

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion will honor Hispanic culture with a 3D event, which will aim to celebrate and provide insight for those interested in learning more about the culture during Hispanic Heritage month. This event will be hosted in Beckman Auditorium in the Ames Library.

 

Titan Dance Fest and Hansen 100th Time Capsule Opening

RSOs and Greek Life organizations are hosting an event where you can dance the night away. They will also be showing the contents of the 100th year of the Hansen Time Capsule. This event is sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement and will be held on Eckley Quad.

CAB is bringing the annual pizza taste off back to Eckley Quad – come sample local/chain restaurants here in town. Remarks and performances by the Titan cheerleaders, Student-Athletic Advisory Committee, and Homecoming royalty crowning.

Listen to the musical stylings of Conor Clemmons, a Nashville-based country artist who you may recognize from NBC’s The Voice. The concert is being put on after the TGOE Fest on Eckley Quad.
