Peace Garden hosts Harvest Festival

Fri. Oct. 9, 4-7 p.m.

IWU’s Peace Garden will provide rock painting, pumpkin weight guessing and more at the garden which can be found at 1212 N Evans St in Bloomington. Students planning to attend are asked to RSVP at the following link: https://forms.gle/o9HwJRpBwqAfysZf8

Titan Dance Fest takes place

Fri. Oct 9, 7-9 p.m.

Formerly known as LipSync, the annual competitive dancing homecoming event will be held in Hansen Student Center and streamed by the Office of Student Involvement. 

Actor Josh Peck hosts Q&A session

Sat. Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.

Actor and social media personality Josh Peck will be coming to campus via Zoom to host a Q&A session facilitated by students. The Campus Activities Board will also be raffling off meet and greet passes for Josh Peck at upcoming CAB events. Students interested should register through the link sent in an email by CAB. 

Career Center presents GRE “crash course”

Tue. Oct 13, 4-5 p.m.

The Hart Career Center will present their workshop titled “Applying for Grad School: Overview of the Application Process” with the workshop being hosted by career advisor Lisa DeWeert. Students can register for the event on Handshake, IWU’s career website and can attend over Zoom

Health and Environment Virtual Workshop to be held

Tue. Oct. 13, 4:30-6 p.m.

Students will lead a workshop exploring the impact of environmental issues on the health of the planet. The interactive workshop is sponsored by the IWU Environmental Studies Program, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, School of Nursing and Sierra Student Coalition. Students are required to register for the event beforehand. 

CAB presents quad yoga

Thurs. Oct. 15, 6-7 p.m.

Campus Activities Board (CAB) will host an outdoor yoga session on the main quad. Students are not required to register and the event is free. 

Tributaries submissions close

Fri. Oct 16 at 11:59 p..m.

Students wanting to submit work to IWU’s literary journal, Tributaries, are required to send in their poems, prose, short stories, art or photography to iwutributaries@gmail.com by Friday night.
