Laurine Brown Commemorative Tree Planting

Friday, April 22, 12:30pm – 1:00pm

Corner of Park Street and Beecher Street

The Environmental Studies Department, School of Nursing and the GREENetwork will plant a commemorative tree in honor of professor of health/environmental studies and environmental studies coordinator Laurine Brown. The tree is a tribute to her 22 years of service toward making IWU a more sustainable campus and honors her retirement this year. 


Writing Center Finals Hours

Friday, April 22 – Tuesday, April 26

Ames Library, Room 105b

The WCTS will adjust their hours for finals. On Friday, April 22,  there will be tutors available online from 1-4 p.m; Saturday, April 23, from 12- 4 p.m.; Sunday, April 24, from 12- 2 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; Monday, April 25, from 12 -2 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 26,  from 2-4 p.m. 


Touch of Class spring concert

Sunday, April 24, 4-5 p.m.

Evelyn Chapel

A capella group Touch of Class will host their final concert this semester. The concert is free and open to the public.

Showcases IWU’s film department. This event will be showing films written, directed, acted and shot by students.

Students must pick up any mail before April 29. Students should email [email protected] with any questions.

State Farm Hall, Kemp Commencement Plaza 

The 2022 ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting, on the quad and there will be no tickets required. A covered seating area will be available for any guests who require one and one other member of their family to sit with them. An alternative location will be announced on April 29 if weather is poor.
